Based in the heart of Seminyak, Huge is one of the most famous restaurants in Bali and is known for their amazing seafood. Expect experimental flavour combinations that incorporate European trends into the freshest seafood.

This spot boasts a vibrant interior adorned with stunning art pieces, personalized dinnerware, and top-notch service. The restaurant’s vibe centers around simplicity and art, evident in each flavor note. With 45+ unique dishes, 13 original cocktails, and over 15 sushi varieties, the menu is a feast.

At HUGE, Japanese traditions meet modern techniques like dehydration and sous vide. The team, led by renowned chef Edik Kanaryan, creates gastronomic marvels using local ingredients, all while championing waste-free production and a conscious approach to resources. 3. Ijen @ Potato Head

Based at the world famous Potato Head beach club, Ijen offers two things – seafood and cocktails. A winning combination in our eyes, all produce is carefully selected by their fishing community and they aim to elevate the natural taste of their ingredients.

There’s plenty of grilled options like squid, snapper and king prawns, which are cooked on wood. Plus, they aim to be zero-waste – anything wasted from your meal goes to local farms and composting sites.

4. Seasalt

5. Warung Amphibia

8. Bonito Fish Bar

One of the best seafood spots in Bali, Bonito Fish Bar is a cosy restaurant serving mouthwatering seafood with creative Italian twists. 

Their fresh fish and seafood is 80% sustainably caught locally in Bali, Lombok, Flores and Timor, but they do also import premium caviar, scallops from Hokkaido and custaceans.

The Italian inspired menu features dishes like tuna tartare and barramundi ceviche. There’s also plenty of comfort food on offer, including classic fish and chips or fritto misto. 9. Sardine

A seafood lovers must visit, Sardine combines rural charm with an elevated, fine dining experience. It’s based in Petitenget next to a beautiful rice paddy, and its menu combines fresh seafood with local produce. 

You’ll find dishes like mussels with parmesan and garlic, yellowfin tuna, king prawns, and their specialty dish – lobster steamed in bamboo.

10. Fisherman’s Club at Andaz Bali

For traditional fresh fish and seafood, head to the Fisherman’s Club based at the five-star Andaz Bali. Run by a chef duo who are culinary experts in taking freshly caught seafood from the ocean to your table. This beachfront spot lets you choose how you want your fish cooked, with options like steaming and grilling available. 

The restaurant is based in Sanur – still used as a fishing village where you’ll see traditional jukung boats parked along the shore. 

Their menu stars a range of surf and turf, with responsibly sourced seafood and comfort food on offer. Come during the day for a light bite, or arrive after sunset when the seafood market comes to life. They have displays of the daily catch, which you can order on a seafood platter or on their own.

11. Mama Chew 360 Rooftop

This Jimbaran seafood spot isn’t on the beach like the rest – instead you’ll find it on a rooftop. Their menu is mainly focused on seafood dining, and there’s a great panoramic view of the ocean.

They are mainly Singapore inspired, serving up chilli crab, salted egg crab and stuffed squid.

12. Kisik Bar and Grill

KISIK Lounge & Seafood Restaurant, part of the AYANA Estate in Jimbaran, Bali, offers a stunning oceanfront dining experience. Pick your fresh seafood from a market-style display, with options like rock lobster, king prawn, mud crab, and more on offer.

13. Starfish Bloo at W Bali

This stylish restaurant combines influences from the West and Asia. All the seafood is sourced from the Indian Ocean daily, vegetables are handpicked from the resort’s garden, and rice is harvested from the surrounding paddy fields. 

The menu is designed to be shared, so you can have a little bit of everything. Dishes include softshell crab with sweetcorn sauce, bluefin tuna belly with toro, avocado and strawberry, and prawn gyoza.

14. Arwana Restaurant

Not your typical restaurant, the Arwana is one of the best in Nusa Dua for a romantic candle-lit dinner. They have an open air kitchen so you can watch the food being prepared, as well as a live seafood aquarium so you can choose what you want to eat.
