Until a few years ago, Bingin was just a blip on Bali's map. It was barely known outside of the surf community, but now the secret is out and this beautiful beach is a hit with tourists. In recent years, new restaurants have popped up in the area, with dining options to suit all budgets and food cravings. Here are the best Bingin Beach restaurants.

The Lucky Fish BBQ & Lounge

Jl. Pantai Bingin, Pecatu

Located just a few steps from the beach, Lucky Fish is a popular fish BBQ spot. Chairs get laid out in the sand every day from 5pm, where you can dine on the catch of the day as you watch the sunset. Choose your exact fish straight from their coolers, and they’ll grill it up for you and bring it to your table with rice, vegetables and sauces. If you want a more formal setting, they’ve recently opened a lounge just above their BBQ. They do a wider range of dishes, including dim sum, salads, sandwiches and more!

Bingin Bagus Seafood BBQ

Another popular seafood BBQ spot, Bingin Bagus serves up delicious, fresh fish right on the beach. Choose your seafood – snapper, squid, prawns and tuna are mainstays – and they’ll grill it up for you on the coals. It comes served with homemade sambal.

Cachos Bingin

This simple Mexican rstaurant has colourful interiors, surfer vibes and great cocktails. Come here for the fish tacos, and stay for their amazing homemade hot sauce.

Seed is a true Bingin gem and a must visit spot. The location is nestled in the middle of the jungle, and they have their own kitchen garden to grow vegetables. Their menu is influenced by South East Asian and Western cuisine, with a range of meat and vegan dishes on offer. The staff are a standout, going above and beyond to make your dinner special!

Latino Bingin

Latino has a huge menu of amazing homemade dishes, with a friendly vibe. They often have live music, and combined with their creative cocktails, it’s a great place to go for a lively night! Their menu is a great mix of health food and comfort food – their chicken parmigiana is much loved!

Recommended dishes: Argentina BBQ with beaf stak, sausages, chips, focaccia and chimichurri sauce

Banana Lounge

If you fancy a pool day, head to Banana Lounge, Bingin’s pool lounge and restaurant. It’s easy to spend the whole day here snacking, sipping, and swimming. They’re open from brunch where you can enjoy freshly brewed coffee, and stay open until late. Their all-day menu features pan-seared fish, chicken skewers, and creamy cheese croquettes. 

Banana Lounge is based a short walk from Impossibles Beach, so it’s the ideal evening stop after a day of surfing. Enjoy a sunset dinner and cocktails on their ocean-view rooftop.

DiVino by Casa Asia

Jl. Pantai Bingin No.05, Pecatu

This is a well loved restaurant in the Bingin area, run by two Italians. The pizza and pasta will be some of the best you’ve ever tried, and they also offer delivery to local hotels. Note that this restaurant is extremely popular, so make a reservation or arrive early to get a seat. We highly recommend ordering a pizza as well!

Recommended dishes: Babino pizza with mozzarella, spicy salami, gorgonzola and rocket

Chela is bringing the Middle East to Bingin. This cafe, restaurant, and bar serves nourishing and delicious dishes, perfect for a surf break lunch or a romantic dinner date. Expect spice-filled dishes like shakshuka topped with pesto, grilled tuna sandwiches and heart salad bowls. If you’re with friends, get one of their sharing platters – from meat and cheese to wholesome vegan options.

The Cashew Tree

Close to Bingin’s cliff tops is the Cashew Tree, where you’re sorted from brunch to dinner and drinks. Their menu is healthy and organic, with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. Expect health bowls, breakfast platters and Indonesian curries. Thursday night is live music night, so expect good vibes and mix of locals, expats and tourists!

Kelly’s Warung

Bingin Beach, Bingin

Kelly’s is a bit of a Bingin institution and is one of the only locally-owned cafes in the area. It’s based at the bottom of the cliffs on Bingin beach, and overlooks the waves. The food here is simple and healthy, and you’ll struggle to find a colder beer! It’s the perfect place to stop for lunch after a morning on the Bingin surf.

Recommended dishes: Bacon and egg burger with lettuce, tomato and grilled onion

Alchemy Uluwatu

Jl Pantai Bingin No. 8, Pecatu

This popular Ubud hotspot and OG vegan restaurant has opened another location in the Bingin beach area. Everything here is natural, sustainable and organic. You’ll get huge salad bowls, plant packed sandwiches and all day breakfast – everything is plant-based and gluten free. You’ve got to try their kombucha, which they make in-house.

Nourish does as it says, nourish you with delicious and organic food. They’re loved for their nutrient-rich dishes, cold-pressed juices, vibrant salads and superfood bowls. Their location is Bingin is also attached to its own gourmet wholefoods store.

Gooseberry Restaurant

Jl Buana Sari, Gg Pirta, Pecatu

Run by the acclaimed lingerie and swimwear label, Gooseberry Intimates, Gooseberry is tucked away above Bingin Beach. The cafe serves cocktails and all day Western dining in a chic spot, with tropical-themed decor and their own poolside terrace. You could easily spend the day here, enjoying their yummy breakfast stapes and staying until dinner. It’s super stylish and also has an air conditioned area if it gets too hot.

Mu Bouqitue Resort is one of the best hotels in Bingin, and their restaurant Abracadabra is just as special. It’s right on the top of the cliff at Bingin, and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with a beautiful view of the ocean. Come early so you can watch the sunset and graze on one of their delicious seafood platters.
