Big changes are happening at Park Row in Soho as it transforms into The Iceberg Lounge, a Batman-inspired hotspot. Previously, only one of the bars carried the Iceberg Lounge theme, but now the entire venue, with the exception of the Monarch Theatre, is getting the Penguin treatment.
For those who dive into the world of comics and films, The Iceberg Lounge is synonymous with The Penguin, offering a glimpse into the villain’s attempt to showcase his less criminal side through a lavish nightclub/bar setting. With this thematic shift, the entire venue now revolves around The Penguin’s domain.
Accompanying this transformation is a brand-new menu crafted under the expertise of Executive Chef Raymond Steplin, formerly of Dinings SW3. The focus is on modern Japanese cuisine, featuring a diverse range from sushi and sashimi to kushiyaki skewers, tempura, gyoza, bao, miso black cod, and Wagyu steaks. The menu cleverly integrates references to comic and film characters, with dishes like the intriguing “‘Why So Serious!’ Gyoza Roulette.” Not to be forgotten, the popular frozen dessert “Kiss from a Rose” maintains its place on the menu.
Expanding beyond the culinary experience, the bars within The Iceberg Lounge now boast distinct themes. A dedicated Champagne bar, a caviar and oyster bar, and the promise of a roving martini trolley provide a variety of drinking options. The sheer scale of the restaurant, coupled with these thematic additions, makes The Iceberg Lounge a destination worth exploring.
Located at 77 Brewer St, London W1F 9ZN, The Iceberg Lounge is open for business. For more information, visit their website or follow them on Instagram @icebergloungelondon.
